have always loved winamp. Made several skins for it ect. And just when
I thought it couldn't get any better they come out with version 5. It's
pretty. There evidently wasn't anything sexy about 4 so they just
skipped that version. Anyway the big thing with this version is it
streams video. I am not sure where it comes from but almost all of the
channels that loaded when I fired it up were porn, so who cares?.
That's right. Winamp now streams porn. God bless the interthingy. |

KSTE yesterday there was a
news report about the flu that said so and so people had died
from it and the went on to say " to put that in perspective so and so
people died during the 99 flu. Really, that's some perspective." " During the 1918-1919 fall period the number
of Americans who died from influenza(spanish flu) is estimated at
675,000. Of those, almost 200,000 deaths were recorded in the month of
October 1918 alone." That's when the flu becomes an f---ing news story.
The Media is always trying to convince us that something is going to
kill us. SARS, West Nile, Terrorists, Bombings, Snipers,
pitbulls...where are the pit bull stories. That was a fad for a while.
Pit bulls are going to eat you children. Killers are on the loose,
Krime is Up. The economy is bad. The Bulls have slain the bears and are
making rugs from their corpses. The Bears are back from the dead and
want their furs back.. . Last year 1500 people died of flu related illness over half of which were over 85. If you are fucking old, the flu may kill you ( if the pit bulls don't get to you first.) |

stuff. I downloaded the newer, working version of mozilla. (1.5)
They improved composer a bit. It doesn't crash when dragging objects.
which is nice. boring. bored. Back to urdx. You
can never have too many jpgs of girls touching each other. That's what
I always say. at least, starting now.. I will always say that. Only
when it's relevant of course, but when it's relevant I will be the
first and probably only one to say it. It is relavent now. |

 Been toying with a
new alphabet based on English
phonetics. Encryption, 13th century style. Really just sort of a
symbols font right now but I am adding Chinese style symbols for common
words and pronouns. I keep notebook of stuff... Ideas for my book,
snippets of song lyrics to google and sketches. It occurred to me that
I lost one, most of the stuff that I write in them would be painfully
embarrassing .I also picked up my van this weekend and even got a little cosmetic work done on it I am planning on doing a sort of restoration blog for the work I do on it just because it would add some structure to the to the whole task.  Been wanting to try this since I saw it on boinboing. These were made by taking a picture, then moving the camera a tiny nudge horizontally. Then you make a gif that flips them back and forth really fast. The above was made in Bryce with the same method. don't remember who it was that figured this out but if you search boinboing.net from last month you can prolly find the site. The ones they had were from burning man I think.  |
